Do I need to discount a project I screwed up?

Winter can suck, 🥶especially during a global pandemic and local lockdowns. Don’t be afraid to go get some vitamin D, though, if the weather permits it!

Fortunately Starbucks still has outdoor seating so I can warm up with a hot americano. ☕️🥰

At Nimdzi Insights, one of the companies I manage, At Nimdzi Insights, one of the companies I manage, we are planning for next year, and we are using remote design thinking as a methodology to help facilitate these discussions. I'm documenting this whole process so that others can learn from our successes and failures.

Design thinking is a flexible methodology that is focused on empathizing with the end-user. While it is originally a product design process, it can be adapted to other needs. This process is so flexible, that we are completely modifying Phases 1 and 2, basically combining them into a single discovery phase.

In this video, we will go over some practical methods for how to gathe feedback from your users to better empathize with them, which is crucial to the Design Thinking process.

1️⃣ Introduction
2️⃣ About today's cubicle
3️⃣ Defining our audience (this is technically Phase 1)
4️⃣ Design Thinking as a Flexible tool (more than just product design)
5️⃣ Understanding you end-user (
6️⃣ Gathering feedback from your end-users
7️⃣ Practical examle using Google Sheets to collect feedback
8️⃣ The importance of keeping an open mind - no judging the feedback yet!

1️⃣1️⃣ Review (note: technically, Phase 1 is Define... but we are mixing things up)
1️⃣2️⃣ About the Design Thinking Series and Remotely Possible

For those of you new to this series: I manage a consulting company well-versed in Design Thinking methodology, and we will be using the five phases of design thinking to plan, organize, and manage our year-end strategy meetings. As I frequently get asked by clients about event planning as well about remote design thinking examples that they can use themselves in their own organizations, I thought I would put together a video series to document the exact steps I'm taking.

I'll be posting a new video each week, so if you are interested in following along as I go through this process, make sure to subscribe to Remotely Possible and hit the bell icon to receive updates.
